Candice Smith Corby received a BFA in painting from Tyler School of Art and a MFA in painting from MassArt.  In 2014, she was a Massachusetts Cultural Council Finalist and in 2008 a Fellow in Painting. She received a Dave Bown Project grant in 2011, was an Awesome Foundation and Berkshire Taconic Artist Resource Fund grantee in 2013. Her work is in the collections of Fidelity Investments, the Wellington Management Company, Cosmit-Italy, and Framingham State College. She is a co-­‐founder of an arts collective, The Bottega, which offers workshops in Italy in traditional media such as fresco painting as well as those which share culinary, cultural, and art-making connections. Smith Corby is the Gallery Director and Asst. Professor in the Visual and Performing Arts Department at Stonehill College in Easton, MA.
